Spaghetti with Lemons and Black Olives

Ingredients:
1/2 cup (125 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
Zest of 2 lemons, cut into julienne strips
Freshly squeezed juice of 2 lemons
1 1/2 cups (150 g) pitted black olives, coarsely chopped
16 basil leaves, torn
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 lb (500 g) spaghetti
Procedure:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat
Beat together the oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black olives, garlic, and basil in a large bowl
Season with salt and pepper
Cook the pasta in the boiling water until al dente
Drain well and add to the bowl with the sauce
Transfer to a serving dish
Serve hot
